Competent and Helpful Group…

We are so pleased to have worked with the team at the UBC AMS Nest as they are such a competent and helpful group to help us to host our Digital Media Academy Tech Camps. For the last number of years, we've enjoyed hosting our programs at the most modern and incredible space providing students with the best amenities, facilities, location, and example of student and campus life. The facilities team at the nest did a lot of the work that we find ourselves doing at other university locations where we run programs around North America. Not only were they professional and courteous but incredibly helpful and accommodating as we prepared to host some of the first safe and healthy learning programs since the beginning of the 2020 health crisis.

Two Great Events

Just to say we had two great events yesterday evening - the reception and the dinner - and that those in charge and their staff looked after us impeccably. The food was brilliant, and the spaces provided by both the rooftop and the Lev Bukhman lounge are rather special. Since we didn’t see Leslie, the events captain, at the very end, please pass on our heartfelt thanks (if you have his contact, we’d send a message). We mentioned the support of UBC Alumni to everybody, and all very appreciative. Many remarked on the excellent facilities of the Nest, and also the great overall learning and living environment you now have created at UBC.

We now know how much is work involved in putting together such an event. Why should you book at the AMS NEST? Five reasons: (i) the stunning architecture leaves a lasting impression, (ii) the booking process is seamless, (iii) the staff is professional and highly accommodating, (iv) technical issues are resolved quickly and (v) your events directly help to support the student clubs at UBC.   Ok, sounds pretty good, but why should I take your word for it? Answer: I’ve been booking events at the AMS NEST ever since September 2015 (including during the challenges of COVID19). I’ve booked everything from small classrooms designed to accommodate 5-6 people up to fully catered events at the Performance Theatre designed to accommodate 100+ people. I can honestly say that I’ve never had an issue come up that wasn’t resolved immediately by the AMS staff and/or the building operations staff.
